Rugby players from a primary school in Leicester are set to tackle their matches in style again after sealing a renewal on their sponsorship deal with us!
Danemill Primary School, in Enderby, received the generous donation of £600 from our regional business unit Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, which is currently building high-quality apartments at our nearby Oak Manor development in Narborough.
The renewed sponsorship money has paid for 22 kits for the U11s team – including shirts, shorts and socks emblazoned with both the school’s and our logos.
Matt Payne, who coaches the school’s rugby club, says: “We are delighted that Taylor Wimpey have backed the U11s team for the second year in a row, and want to thank them for their donation to our school.
“We’re so pleased to be able to continue to develop as a team with the support of Taylor Wimpey, and the children will be proud to take on any opponents in their brand new kits!”
The U11s rugby team at Danemill Primary School regularly compete against other local schools in the area, recently winning Discovery School’s rugby tournament
Lucie Grundy, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “As a local housebuilder, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our high-quality new homes, so we were only too pleased to offer our support to Danemill Primary School’s rugby club.
“I hope that the funding from the deal helps to give the club a big boost and we wish them the very best of luck out on the pitch.”
There’s currently a superb selection of one and two-bedroom apartments available at Oak Manor.
