Weaverham Cricket Club, based in Northwich, Cheshire, have secured a sponsorship deal with our North West business unit for the second consecutive season.

Our £500 donation will help to provide new shirts for the U9s and U11s teams, to inspire Weaverham’s young cricketers to take part in the sport for the upcoming season.

Stuart Hayes, captain of the over-40s team at Weaverham Cricket Club, says: “We are delighted that Taylor Wimpey is supporting us for another season.

“The confidence of our younger players is soaring at the prospect of new official shirts for match days, and we are anticipating great results over the summer.

“Our club is growing each year, and gaining support from local businesses is essential if we’re to meet our ambitions. The players are delighted with their new shirts, and on behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation.”

The club, set in the heart of Cheshire, has junior teams ranging from U9s through to U18s, as well as three senior teams. The first and second teams participate in the Vivio Cheshire County League, which offers the highest level of cricket in the club’s history.

Stuart Craig, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey North West, says: “It is a privilege to be supporting Weaverham Cricket Club for the second year running.

“With our Eden Grange development nearby, we wanted to expand our relationship by sponsoring both the U9s and U11s for the upcoming season, as it’s so important to support the development of the next generation of sports talent in the areas we build in.”

Our Eden Grange development currently features a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes.
