Skelton Primary School in Saltburn-by-the-Sea has invested in brand new playground equipment for its pupils thanks to a £500 donation from our team at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire.

The school, which is based just a short distance from our  Annandale Park development in Skelton-in-Cleveland, has been given a cash boost to further develop its outdoor area with the introduction of a pirate ship.

Ms Walker, headteacher at Skelton Primary School, comments: “We are really grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s generous donation. We can now expand our Foundation Stage outdoor provision which the children love!

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey for their generosity, on behalf of the whole school – the children absolutely love their new pirate ship.”

Skelton Primary School has approximately 610 pupils and features a wide variety of facilities including, two libraries, a nurture room and a food technology area for the children to utilise.

Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, explains: “With our Annandale Park development neighbouring the school, we jumped at the chance to offer our support to such a great local cause.

“Outdoor play is, quite possibly, a child’s favourite time of the day so we’re happy to have helped enhance the whole area with the pirate ship.”

Annandale Park currently features a selection of four-bedroom homes.
