The Glossop Concert Society has received a second consecutive year of sponsorship from our Yorkshire team.

The £1,000 contribution will be used to fund the various acts for this year’s Summer Festival between 20 and 24 June 2017.

Featuring a range of local and international artists, the event will involve six of high qualirty professional music for adults and children of all ages.

Mike Bull, chairman of the Glossop Music Festival, comments: “Our Summer Festival is the highlight of our calendar and attracts visitors from far and wide.

“Thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s continued support we’re able to invite leading international musicians to perform in Glossop.

“On behalf of everybody at the Glossop Concert Society, I’d like to extend our thanks and gratitude for the continued support – it really does mean a lot to us and will help us ensure that this year’s festival is the best yet!”

The organisation’s aim is to bring the highest quality of music to the widest possible audience through a year-long series of concerts, as well as a Summer Festival and one-off concerts throughout the year.

Anne Bagshaw, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, adds: “Our Laurel View development really has become a great part of the Glossop community, which is why we love to support the causes that make the town such a desirable place to live.

“If the festival is anything like last year’s, then it will be a fabulous event for the eyes and the ears and we hope the residents of Laurel View head down and partake in the celebrations.”
