St Francis Church Hall receives £1,000 donation
St Francis Church Hall in Farnham, Surrey, has received a helping hand from our West London team with a cash boost towards refurbishing its community facilities.
We donated £1,000 that will be spent on new flooring throughout the hall, refurbishing the kitchen and improving the toilet facilities to make the building even more accessible to visitors with disabilities.
The Rev David Uffindell, Rector of Farnham, says: “We’re extremely grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s generous contribution towards our refurbishments and would like to say a huge thank you.
“With Taylor Wimpey’s fantastic donation, we can look forward to improving the church hall’s facilities to provide diverse groups and services in the future which are accessible to all in the local area.
“We pride ourselves on serving both the worshipping and non-worshipping communities so it’s lovely to receive this sponsorship from Taylor Wimpey, which will help bring everyone in the local area together.”
Emma Jones, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West London, says: “We are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes so we are delighted to contribute towards the refurbishment of St Francis Church Hall.
“We hope everyone enjoys using the improved facilities.”
Taylor Wimpey is proposing to build a new development of 120 homes nearby on land off Crondall Lane. Outline planning permission for the site has already been granted.
