Last week we began working with our local teams to help support care homes who are in desperate need of basic PPE (visors, face masks, aprons, gloves etc) using our connections, buying power and resources.

The first deliveries of this PPE are starting to arrive and, over the next few weeks, our teams will be supplying and delivering to around 50 care homes, with a total of 75,000 face masks, 75,000 aprons and roughly 38,000 pairs of gloves.

We will also be supplying these care homes with a variety of our own manufactured face visors. To date, we have produced and delivered over 450 reusable face visors to care homes and GP surgeries around the UK. Over the next few days, we will be distributing around 500 additional face visors to nominated care homes that have requested support. We will also provide patterns, to allow anybody that is able, to make basic uniforms and scrub bags.

We’re very proud of all those that have volunteered their time to help and assist with this so far and to be playing our part in supporting our fantastic care workers who do an amazing job every single day.
