We donated 199 high-visibility vests to pupils at Surrey Hills School in Westcott, Dorking, to help keep them safe on school trips!
Headteacher Jennie Ratcliff says: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this donation from Taylor Wimpey which means we can now equip every one of our children with a high-visibility vest for future school excursions and trips into the local community.
“Safety in and around the school is imperative and the high-visibility vests will be very well used and will help pupils and staff stay safe during trips out.
“It’s crucial to teach children about the importance of road safety from a young age, and these vests will go a long way to instilling this in the minds of our children.”
Sarah Pasco, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Thames, says: “We are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our high-quality new homes, which is why we decided to donate high-visibility vests to pupils at Surrey Hills School.
“We hope that our donation will help to keep the children safe during their school trips, and are delighted to hear that the vests will be used as a way of showing the pupils just how important road safety is.”
