Taverham Football Club in Norfolk has got the ball rolling thanks to our cash donation of £593 that will fund new kits for the U10s football team.
The nine year-olds will begin their first league season in September, sporting brand new blue and white training kits adorning our Taylor Wimpey logo.
Paul Oakley, Manager of Taverham Football Club, says: “We’d all like to say a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey, as their sponsorship means a lot to the team and the organisers, and the team can now enjoy playing in their nice new kits.
“Without this donation we wouldn’t have been able to afford any new equipment for the team as with many other sports clubs we often struggle to fund ourselves, especially with the younger age groups. It would be hard to find the money and would mean parents have to chip in to help.”
The Taverham Football Club, based at Hinks Meadow near to our Middleton Park development, will be competing in the Norfolk League starting in September, with the Taverham Messi team playing weekly matches in the U10s Development.
The team will also be involved in the summer tournament, which covers two to three monthly matches.
Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, says: “We are really pleased to be able to make this donation to Taverham Football Club and help the team continue to feel proud to represent their club.
“We really hope the Taverham Messi team enjoy wearing their new kits and we wish them the best of luck in their upcoming tournaments.”
There’s a stunning selection three-bedroom homes currently available to reserve at Middleton Park in Costessey.
