Taylor Wimpey helps Hillhead to be seen

Date: Monday 23 May 2011

Taylor Wimpey’s Dunsmuir Park development in Kilmarnock has come to the aid of neighbouring Hillhead Primary by providing 100 high-viz vests for the entire infant department (Primary 1-3). These highly-visable bibs are badly needed for children when they leave the school grounds on walking trips to ensure they can be seen!

Pictured giving the bibs their final iron before they are pressed into service, Emma Beattie, Principal Teacher for Hillhead Primary said: “Taylor Wimpey has been so generous in their ongoing support of Hillhead Primary. We’re delighted they’ve been able to supply the high- viz vests we need for the entire infant department – it means that our children will most definitely be seen and be safe whenever they go on a school trip.”

Kirsty McGill, sales manager for Taylor Wimpey’s Dunsmuir Park in Kilmarnock added: "Taylor Wimpey is more than delighted to be able to provide a piece of safety gear that our site teams wear every day that’s so easily adapted to keep the pupils at Hillhead Primary safe when they go on school outings. We think they’ll certainly add some colour to the streets of Kilmarnock when they’re out and about.”
