Taylor Wimpey is thrilled to announce it is supporting The Friends of Fairy Dell, by donating £500 to help with its work within the Middlesbrough community.

The Friends of Fairy Dell works in restoring and improving the environment for the local community and habitat for wildlife.

Dave Elliott, chairman of The Friends of Fairy Dell, explains how vital contributions like this are to the running of the organisation.

He said: “The money we have received from Taylor Wimpey has helped us tremendously. The boardwalk in particular has been great, as we are now able to cater for more people with walking difficulties as well as people in wheelchairs and with pushchairs.”

The Friends of Fairy Dell, which is based just a short distance from our Rose Cottage Farm development, has used the donation for a much-needed boardwalk, flower beds and tools, to enhance its current gardening areas.

Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire commented: “The Friends of Fairy Dell does some fantastic work throughout the whole community and with our Rose Cottage Farm development close-by, we were more than happy to help.”

Dave concluded: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey for its support on behalf of all from The Friends of Fairy Dell. The donation has given us a great deal of help and we can’t thank them enough.”
