We gave a boost to a drive to raise money for new play equipment at Crookham Infant School in Church Crookham, Hampshire.
We donated £100 to the Parent Teacher Association at the school, which is near to our Queensacre development in Church Crookham.
The donation will help to fund the purchase of Poddely play equipment, a range of items which help children to learn through imaginative play.
The PTA recently boosted its play equipment fund by organising a raffle at the school’s Spring Fair, which took place on Saturday 17th May.
Sally Jones, from the Friends of Crookham Infant School PTA, says: “We would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for the donation, as the more money we raise, the more equipment we can buy.
“The Poddely play equipment which we are raising money for will really get the children thinking and will be a fantastic addition to the school.”
Emma Jones, Regional Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our high-quality new homes, so when we heard about the fundraising for new play equipment at Crookham Infant School, we were only too pleased to offer our support.
“We hope that the children enjoy their new Poddely play equipment and that it helps to enrich their learning.”
This is the second time we have made a donation to Crookham Infant School – in November we donated 190 high-visibility slap bands to help keep the pupils safe on their walk to school during the dark winter months.
