Our team in North Yorkshire is thrilled to announce that they will be sponsoring the Tees Pride 10k road race for the second consecutive year.
The race, which is due to take place on Sunday 6th September in Middlesbrough, has received a cash boost of £15,000 from us over the two years of sponsorship.
Scott Hydon, sports development manager at Middlesbrough Council, comments: “Last year’s event was a huge success, so we’re delighted to have Taylor Wimpey’s support again.
“Without sponsorship from local companies like Taylor Wimpey, the event just wouldn’t be possible.
“We would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their support – it really is much appreciated.”
The Tees Pride 10k is an annual event and is in aid of raising valuable funds for a number of charities in the region, including Hope for Holly, Great North Air Ambulance, Daisy Chain and Cleveland Alzheimers.
Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, explains: “It’s great to be on board again for the Tees Pride 10k.
“It is a key date in the Middlesbrough community’s calendar and a number of the Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire team will be participating, as well as a number of our residents, so we are very excited to be involved again this year.”
We are currently building homes at a number of developments in the Middlesbrough area, including at High Farm on Skippers Lane, Rose Cottage Farm in Stainton, Acklam Hall in Acklam, and Scholars Rise on Marton Road.
