Tees Valley Gymnastics Club has received a £500 cash boost from our team in North Yorkshire.

The club has received the donation to help fund much-needed equipment due to its imminent renovation, which will enable the facilities to double in size.

Allison Thain, head coach at Tees Valley Gymnastics Club, says: “Due to the club growing significantly, we’re in desperate need of more equipment to accommodate new members.

“As you can imagine, equipment is incredibly expensive so Taylor Wimpey’s generous donation is much appreciated.”

Tees Valley Gymnastics Club is based at Whitestone Business Park in Middlesbrough, and is run entirely by volunteers. The club welcomes amateur gymnasts of all ages.

Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, says: “Tees Valley Gymnastics Club has some incredible talent, so as soon as we heard they were in need of some help, we jumped at the chance to get involved.

“As the club is also based just a short distance from our Acklam Hall development, we’re confident that a number of our new residents will be taking full advantage of the new facilities.”

Allison concludes: “I would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for this generous donation on behalf of the whole club.”

Acklam Hall currently features a range of four and five-bedroom homes.
