Our North Yorkshire business unit is thrilled to announce that it will be the 2016/2017 sponsor of the U11s team at Thirsk Falcons Junior Football Club, after donating £977 to purchase new match day kits for the forthcoming season.

Paul Booth, manager of the U11s team at Thirsk Falcons, says: “This is a very generous donation from Taylor Wimpey. The players love their new kits, and I’m sure this will increase their enthusiasm during games.

“The new football kits have provided my players with a greater sense of professionalism. We are indebted to Taylor Wimpey for sponsoring our football club and supporting our U11s in particular.”

Thirsk Falcons was founded over 30 years ago, and is now one of the largest junior football clubs in the area. It has teams ranging from U7s right through to U18s, and offers a ‘fledglings’ team for children aged between three and six years old.

In addition, the club has FA charter status and every team has an FA qualified coach who oversees player development.

Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, adds: “As Thirsk Falcons is based just a short distance from our new Lime Gardens development, no doubt a number of our younger residents will enjoy playing for this wonderful club in the future.”

Lime Gardens at Sowerby Gateway currently offers a collection of three and four–bedroom homes.
