We are thrilled to announce we will be supporting the town show in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, for the second consecutive year.

The annual show, which takes place on Saturday 2nd August in Mesnes Park – next to our Bishops Gate development – will feature a brass band, a funfair and parachute jumpers for the whole town to enjoy.

Seve Gomez-Aspron, who lives at Bishops Gate and is chairman of the Newton-le-Willows town show committee, says: “As a Taylor Wimpey customer, I didn’t hesitate to get in touch with the team again and ask for their support, as they’re always keen to get involved with the community.

“Their generosity has gone towards sponsoring the brass band and associated acts, and this year’s show looks set to be bigger and better than ever.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor Wimpey for their continued support and we look forward to seeing everyone at the show.”

Last year the town show returned after a 13 year absence in an effort to revive Newton-le-Willows and, with around 5,000 people in attendance, Seve describes it as a huge success.

David Hnyda, sales manager at Taylor Wimpey North West, says: “It’s great to be a part of the Newton-le-Willows town show for the second year in a row – especially with our Bishops Gate development neighbouring the park where it all takes place.

“It’s a spectacular day, with lots going on, and after last year’s success, it’s clear that the whole town loves it.”
