Our South Thames team has donated £250 to Three Bridges Primary School in Crawley as part of its ongoing commitment to support the communities in which it builds.
Three Bridges Primary School, located in Crawley caters for children from the ages of 3 to 11 and offers before and after school care and a variety of extra-curricular activities. Taylor Wimpey’s donation has been put towards new equipment for an outdoor learning area, including a play tunnel for crawling and climbing, a target hoop for throwing practice, some sticky catch mitts and an outdoor mirror which will be used for role play.
Commenting on Taylor Wimpey’s donation,Trudy Emberson, Headteacher at Three Bridges Primary School, said: “We are always looking at ways to improve our school and value ourselves on providing our pupils with engaging activities that they enjoy during break times. The children will love having some new outdoor equipment to play with; they specifically requested a tunnel so we’re very much looking forward to seeing them using it! Without Taylor Wimpey’s donation, we wouldn’t have been able to purchase all of this new equipment so we would like to say a big thank you for their support.”
Louise Adams, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey South Thames said: “We are always delighted to offer support to the local community and we were pleased to make a donation to Three Bridges Primary School. We hope that the children will really enjoy their new equipment and I don’t doubt that they’ll put it to good use straight away."
