As part of our ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, we have recently donated £500 to Paisley Grammar School. The money provides a boost to Paisley Grammar School Parent Council’s fundraising towards the provision of equipment for a health and wellbeing suite as well as sports kits for various clubs and teams in the school.
Paisley Grammar School Parent Council is helping its young people by providing funding for its new fitness suite that is partially up and running, and in the process of development for the use of all 840 pupils. Their committee reached out to Taylor Wimpey to provide a boost to their fundraising efforts.
Our donation marks a key milestone for our local development at Hawkhead Gardens in Paisley, where construction on our range of two, three and four bedroom homes is well underway, and show homes are anticipated around March next year.
Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey, Janice Levens, Head Teacher at Paisley Grammar Primary said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey and we can’t thank them enough for their generous donation. Our Parent Council Fundraising Committee is working tirelessly to raise the much-needed funds to create a health and wellbeing suite for every one of our children to enjoy. Plus they are also helping us to provide sports kits for our school teams – which is where we plan to allocate Taylor Wimpey’s donation to providing the sports kits for the Under 14s and Under 18s Football Teams”
We are delighted to offer our support Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director adds: “We are proud to be able to support Paisley Grammar School with a fundraising boost to allow their health and wellbeing plans for a fitness suite and to kit our their school teams to come to fruition. We do more than just build high-quality homes. Being able to work with local businesses and organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us, and it’s great to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in local communities.”
