Our East Anglia team has provided a cash boost to revitalise the Trimley St Martin roundabout, located off High Road by its Cavendish Grove development.
The money provided by the regional team covered a full range of services including a well-needed pruning and shaping on some of the overgrown shrubs, planting a wide variety of shrubs, sowing grass and redefining shrub boundaries on the roundabout.
Yvonne Smart, Trimley St Martin Parish Council Chairperson, said: “The Parish Council has responsibility for the planting on the roundabout, and it was important to us to get it back to looking its best. Taylor Wimpey were so helpful and played such a major part of the roundabout revitalisation. The very dry weather we have had lately has been fantastic and the new shrubs are doing well, but like all good gardeners we are keen to see some rain to help them grow. On behalf of everyone in the Parish Council, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for their support.”
Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “We’re committed to making positive contributions in the communities in which build and we were delighted to provide support to Trimley St Martin Parish Council to help revitalise the roundabout outside our Cavendish Grove development.”
