We help Cullompton RFC look the part on the pitch

Date: Thursday 17 December 2020

Our Exeter team has kitted out a Cullompton-based rugby club, thanks to a £600 donation which has funded new shirts for two of the club’s teams.

Cullompton RFC was formed in 1892 and has since become a thriving sports club in the Mid-Devon area with a mix of sides, including men, women and junior boys and girls.

Ian Wood, Chair of Cullompton RFC said: “We were thrilled to receive the support of Taylor Wimpey and the teams are looking great in their shirts. Rugby took a severe blow during the lockdown, but we’ve been determined to bounce back stronger than ever after some time spent away from the pitch. Training for all our age groups will restart soon and the shirts have been a great boost to the team already, as they will be when training starts back again.”

Melissa Langton, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “Sports clubs have had a particularly tough time during lockdown, with teams not only being unable to train, but also missing the camaraderie of team sports. When it came to giving Cullompton RFC and their teams a boost, we were more than happy to lend a hand by sponsoring the shirts. The team look brilliant and we hope they have a successful period of training ahead of the upcoming seasons.”
