St Elizabeths Catholic Primary

Children at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School will soon be able to enjoy reading a collection of new books, thanks to a donation from our North Midlands team. We gifted £250 in book vouchers to the school in Tamworth, as well as donated copies of our children’s book, ‘How we build your home with Millie Mortar and Handy Andy’.

Angie Ryan, Sales Executive from Chestnut Walk visited the school to present the book voucher and copies of the Taylor Wimpey book, which aims to educate children about the house building process. The educational book provides important messages about how to stay safe around construction sites and housing developments.

Commenting on the donation from Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, Laura Emery, Year 2 teacher at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School, said: “Whether you’re six or 60, reading plays such a central role throughout all of our lives. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for encouraging our pupils to love reading and we can’t wait to add new books to our library.”

Carl Cooke, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, said: “Books are a fantastic way for children to learn about the world around them and to feed their imaginations. We were delighted to offer a donation to St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School and hope that the new books will be enjoyed for years to come.”
