Our Exeter team has helped brighten up an Exmouth community by donating £690 to Littleham in Bloom, helping the village welcome in the summer with extra space for greenery.
Littleham in Bloom is a volunteer-run group that develops and maintains floral displays to enhance the natural beauty of the village, making it more enjoyable for residents and visitors alike. The group regularly encourages schools and the surrounding community to get involved with their projects, as well as running fundraising events to support the work they do in and around the village.
Robin Rule of Littleham in Bloom, said: “We’re so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for this generous donation. The work that we do at Littleham in Bloom depends largely on fundraising and kind donations such as this one, so to be offered the opportunity to purchase some new planters is absolutely fantastic. We’ve been really excited to see the displays looking glorious and now that summer’s here, we certainly haven’t been disappointed.”
Melissa Langton, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “The work that we do goes beyond just building high quality homes - we’re always keen to support local causes and show our commitment to the communities in which we build. Groups such as Littleham in Bloom are at the heart of village communities, so to be able to make a contribution to the hard work they do is an absolute pleasure.”
