Our South East team is proud to have supported Sellindge Primary School’s summer fair with a £300 donation. The annual event welcomed over 300 visitors who enjoyed a variety of activities including the school’s traditional egg catch and a staff versus parents tug of war.
Visitors were treated to a barbecue and had the opportunity to cheer on the school’s final football and netball teams during the final matches of the term. Our donation went towards having the Gumboots Reggae Band perform at the fair. Toby Price, of the Sellindge School Association, said: “The summer fair is an annual event that brings the community together to enjoy some sunshine, food and outdoor activities. It’s always a great way to end the school year before the children have their summer break and this year’s event was no exception. With help from local companies such as Taylor Wimpey, we can ensure the event has a great variety of activities and we are very grateful for their donation.”
Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South East, said: “We were delighted to offer a donation to support to Sellindge Primary School’s summer fair. We know how important events like this are to local schools and communities and it sounds like this year’s event was a great success.”
