As part of our ongoing commitment to working with local communities, our South Midlands team have provided a £200 donation to Soulbury Village Cricket Club to help fund new security measures at the facility, following a burglary at the club.
Our donation will go towards improvements to the security of the club near Leighton Buzzard.
Tim Collins, Treasurer at Soulbury Village Cricket Club, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to Taylor Wimpey South Midlands for their contribution that has helped us to improve the security at the club. The support we have received is brilliant and means a lot to all the people who enjoy the cricket in the village.”
Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands said: “We were sad to hear about the burglary at Soulbury Village Cricket Club, and wanted to help in any way we could. It is an honour to be able to give back to the community and it means a great deal to us that we can contribute to new security equipment to ensure this doesn’t happen again.. Giving back to local organisations and teams means a great deal to us and it’s superb to know we are making a difference.”
