TWEA_model donation to Framlingham College

Our East Anglia team has donated an intricate model of its Castle Keep housing development to Design and Technology students at Framlingham College, in a bid to aid their learning.

The impressive 3D model, which is usually on display for prospective customers, has been donated to Framlingham College so that students can benefit from a real-life tool of the trade. Students aged 13 to 18 are expected to cover topics such as the design, modelling and planning processes in the architecture and commercial building industries.

Commenting on the donation, James Buxton, Head of Design and Technology at Framlingham College said: “We are extremely grateful for the kind donation of this 3D model. It is so important that our pupils see the real world application of Design and Technology to open their eyes to exciting career paths.”

Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “It means a great deal to us to be able to work with educational institutions that surround our developments, such as Castle Keep.

“We hope that the students of Framlingham College will be able to use the development model for years to come and, who knows, we may even see some of them working for Taylor Wimpey in the future!”
