We've helped to kit out a team of young footballers in Cranbrook, thanks to a £1,000 donation from our Exeter team.
As a new town, Cranbrook has seen a range of community groups and facilities emerge in recent years, with sports teams naturally being a large part of this. The Exeter team offered £1,000 towards new resources for the under-9s team at Cranbrook United FC which was used to buy two sets of kit; one for training and the other for tournaments, which players look and feel the part on the pitch once training and matches resume.
Luke Malton, under-9s Manager at Cranbrook United, said: “We’re so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for this generous donation. The team are part of the Exeter and District Youth League, so to have the opportunity to give them all a new kit as they progress is fantastic. The players look absolutely great and really feel like part of a team now, which will be an added boost to their confidence, both in matches and in training when it is safe to start up again.”
