We’ve been busy spreading Christmas cheer in Oxted, Surrey, where we donated a fabulous food and drink hamper to Holland Junior School.
We provided the hamper as a prize for the grand raffle at the school’s annual Christmas Cracker Fair, which takes place on Saturday 6th December.
The hamper is worth over £80 and features a choice of festive favourites including Christmas cake, mince pies, shortbread and plum pudding to name but a few.
Terence Sheen, headteacher at Holland Junior School, says: “We are very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation of this fantastic hamper – it will certainly give a great boost to the grand raffle at our Christmas Cracker Fair.
“The event is always full of festive fun and is the perfect chance for us to raise funds for our school while helping pupils, parents, teachers and staff get into the holiday spirit!”
Along with the grand raffle, visitors to the Christmas Cracker Fair will be able to enjoy a choice of games and activities plus festive refreshments and music.
Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “As a local housebuilder we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, and our donation to Holland Junior School is the perfect example of how we can help.
“We hope everyone has fun at the Christmas Cracker Fair and that the winner of our festive food hamper will enjoy tucking in!”
The Christmas Cracker Fair will take place at Holland Junior School in Holland Road, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday 6th December.
We’re currently building brand new homes at Meridian Square in nearby Hurst Green.
