As part of our ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, we have recently donated £750 towards Meadowdale Primary School’s brand new Forest School and Outdoor Learning Area.

The Market Harborough-based school officially opened its new Forest School and Outdoor Learning Area on Wednesday 26th February 2020. The school invited all of its supporters to the grand opening, to say thank you for all of the donations they received towards the outdoor learning initiative.

Commenting on the support it received Liz Martin, Head of School at Meadowdale Primary School, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the support that we’ve received from Taylor Wimpey and other businesses across Leicestershire - we can’t thank them enough for their generous donations. The new Forest School will help give our pupils a better insight into nature and how exciting the outdoors really can be.”

Rob Curry, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, said: “We are delighted to be able to support Meadowdale Primary School with £750 donation towards the making of its Forest School and Outdoor Learning Area. The work we do is a lot more than just building high-quality homes. Being able to work with local schools that surround our developments means a great deal to us and it’s great to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in local communities.”
