Our West Midlands team has provided Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity with a £900 donation. In 2019, staff members at the housebuilder’s head office in Solihull, nominated the hospital, as well as other organisations to receive a monetary donation from Taylor Wimpey’s charity budget.
The children’s hospital, which is located in the city-centre of Birmingham, is considered as the UK’s leading specialist centre, caring for children and young people up to the age of 16. The donation helped support the hospital to raise the vital funds it needs in order to make a real difference to all who use the hospital’s services and facilities.
Saranne Moreno, Corporate Strategic Partnerships Manager at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “Our hospital cares for 90,000 children and young people across the UK every year and we are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey. Our patients are our number one priority and thanks to this support, we can continue to provide our world-class care and create the best possible environment for our patients while they’re with us.”
Angie Prince, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, said: “It’s always a pleasure to support charities close to where we build. The work that we do at Taylor Wimpey is a lot more than just building good quality homes. It’s great to know that our support will help to improve facilities at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and we hope that patients will benefit for years to come.”
