As part of our continuing efforts to support the nation’s frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, seven care facilities across Suffolk and Norfolk have received a care package from our East Anglia team.
The packages included a range of mentally stimulating activities for residents, such as jigsaw puzzles and colouring books, the care packages also contained additional supplies of protective masks and gloves for staff.
Members of the team donated and safely delivered items to the Buckingham Lodge in Watton, The Beeches in Ixworth, Britten Court in Lowestoft, Mary Chapman Court in Norwich, Wyndham House in North Wooton, Ashfields Care Home in Rackheath and Mills Meadow in Framlingham.
Acting General Manager at Ashfields Care Home said: “We are all truly thankful and feel very humbled to receive support like this from Taylor Wimpey. The team work tirelessly, continuing to ensure that our residents are happy, engaged and connected, which is more important than ever.
“This kind gesture was a wonderful surprise, and a great boost for the hard working staff. We hope that these new friendships will continue beyond the current situation and we want to say a huge thank you!”
