We support the homeless in Milton Keynes during winter

Date: Thursday 23 January 2020

A homeless shelter in Milton Keynes has received a timely cash boost during the winter months, thanks to our South Midlands team.

The £300 donation will help the Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes provide supervised overnight accommodation, meals and welfare support to those living in poverty.

Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes launched in 2010,  as a response to urgent need during the severe winter of that year.

Sam Hall, Fundraising Manager at Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes,  said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to Taylor Wimpey South Midlands for their contribution that will go towards some of the costs of our services. Donations such as these are life-saving and enable us to keep the Winter Night Shelter in Milton Keynes going and hopefully growing.

Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands said: “It is an honour to be able to give back to the community and it means a great deal to us that we can contribute. Giving back to local causes that provide vital services means a great deal to us and it’s great to know we are making a difference.”
