Whinney Banks YCC Football Club in Middlesbrough has secured a sponsorship deal with our North Yorkshire business unit for the third consecutive season.
The club, which is based just a short distance from our Acklam Hall development in the town, has received a donation of £470 to purchase brand new match day kits for its U10s team.
Lorraine Lamb, secretary for the U10s team at Whinney Banks, comments: “We are delighted that Taylor Wimpey is supporting us for another season. The players love their new kits, so fingers crossed they bring us as much luck as they did last season.
“On behalf of the whole club, we would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for the continued support.”
Whinney Banks is a dynamic football club, with teams ranging from U7s right through to an adult team. After becoming the Teesside Junior Football Alliance Club of the Year for 2013, the club has gone from strength to strength.
Debbie Whittingham, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, adds: “This is our third year sponsoring Whinney Banks, and we are thrilled to be continuing our relationship after the club’s great success.
“It is clear that Whinney Banks offers great opportunities for footballers of all ages throughout Middlesbrough, and we couldn’t think of a more deserving club for this donation.”
Acklam Hall currently features a range of four and five-bedroom homes.
