A youth football club in Purton, Wiltshire, have secured financial support from our Oxfordshire business unit.
Purton Youth FC, which is based at Bradon Forest School in Purton, near Swindon, have received £600 funding from our team, which is building new homes at our nearby Greenfields at Ridgeway Farm development in Swindon.
Our sponsorship deal will cover the cost of purchasing new goals and other equipment for the club’s teams, which currently range from U7 to U13 age groups.
Steve Hateley, chairman of Purton Youth FC, says: “We’re a local village team and the money will go a long way to helping secure the club’s future, specifically now to purchase some of the equipment we need, in this case new temporary goals.”
“We’re very grateful for any contributions we get no matter how big or small and it’s great to have a big company like Taylor Wimpey on board with us.”
Nikki Gibson, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, says: “As a local housebuilder, we’re committed to supporting the communities in which we build our new homes, so we’re delighted to be sponsoring the teams at Purton Youth FC.
“The club makes a valuable contribution to community life for local youngsters, and we wish them every success.”
There’s a superb selection of three and four-bedroom homes available at Greenfields at Ridgeway Farm.
