Highworth Town’s juniors successful youth system now boasts a total of 29 junior teams from U7s to U17s and has seen them win a top regional award for community involvement from the FA.

Commercial Manager David Gunn says: “As a club we have grown very quickly and it’s great to have the support of local companies to help us continue our development and provide a good standard of football for hundreds of local youngsters.

“When Taylor Wimpey started developing Heyworth Heights we were keen to build a relationship with them and their support is very much appreciated. It has allowed us to buy a new kit for one of our U11 sides and the boys will be looking good when they take to the pitch this season.”

As well as the new kit, Taylor Wimpey also donated a number of barriers used at the club’s Community Day on Saturday, September 7, which saw hundreds of people enjoy live music and a big FA Vase fixture with Camberley Town.

Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are delighted to be able to help support the community and footballing success story that is Highworth Town. They provide a wonderful service for families in the area and we wish them well for the season ahead.

“We are always keen to get involved in the communities where we are building and we are looking forward to a successful season on the pitch for the boys. Hopefully a new kit can inspire them to plenty of winning performances.”
