We’ve shown our support for local community rugby in Dunbar by becoming the shirt sponsor for five of the children’s mini rugby football teams at Dunbar RFC – continuing our long relationship with the club that has spanned almost a decade.

Dunbar Rugby Club President, Justin Pearce said: “We’re thrilled to have received this donation from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland and we are grateful for their support of clubs like ours in the local community.

“Taylor Wimpey’s generous sponsorship donation has meant that we have been able to replace the strips for five of our minis teams at what remains a challenging time for the club.  Taylor Wimpey has been a long-time supporter of children’s community rugby and they have been our main sponsor for our annual mini’s rugby tournament for the last nine years, which was cancelled this year due to the ongoing health emergency.  We’re so happy they were able to continue their support in this way, it means a lot to the club.”

Kirsty McGill, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said: “It is incredibly important to us to support the local community and we’re delighted to have been able to help to support community rugby and extend our commitment to Dunbar Rugby Club in this way.  Our donation has given a helping hand to a progressive community club that is providing an equal opportunity for both boys and girls - and we’re really proud to be involved.

“This sponsorship also underpins our commitment to deliver an impressive range of new homes across East Lothian, including our latest development to launch for sale at Ravensheugh in Wallyford, our ongoing development at Letham Mains in Haddington, as well as our range of new homes coming soon at Macmerry and future land interest in Dunbar.”
