We aim to make the house buying process as easy as possible for customers, and buyers can now even reserve a new home with us remotely. Paula Ferguson from Whitburn and her partner Steven Ward from Aberdeen fully embraced our digital approach, and during lockdown they took the opportunity to remotely reserve a new Maxwell four bedroom detached home at our Westfield Gardens
development at Maidenhill in East Renfrewshire with us.
By using screen sharing and video calling technology our Sales Executive Pamela was able to take the reservation and complete the sale of the family’s home online.
It was a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved as Pamela explains: “We really are here to make buying a new home as straightforward as possible – especially during these challenging times, and it’s important for us to reassure our customers that every part of the buying process that is normally carried out in person can be completed remotely.
“We use digital technology to help customers through every step of their home buying journey with us, and it was really lovely to see Paula, Steven and Leo taking full advantage of the convenience this offered them so they could enjoy an afternoon tea as they reserved their new home with me from the comfort of their sofa.
“Afternoon tea with customers is not something that we would normally experience together but I think this family has the right idea. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to join them in raising a glass of champagne to celebrate their purchase.”
Paula adds: “Remote reservation of a new home is most definitely the way forward! Taking complete advantage of being able to do it from home meant we were able to have a champagne afternoon tea whilst reserving our fabulous new home! We’re so excited to be heading to Maidenhill.”
