Finding your dream home can be a long and daunting process. When you’re given the opportunity to reserve a new build apartment with the flexibility to add your own personal touch, however, the journey is made that much more exciting. Alexandra Bodrozic, or Alex to her friends, from Halifax, found her perfect match at our Calder View development in Sowerby Bridge.
A 28-year old insurance broker searching for the perfect place to settle into, Alex came across the new build development during the early days of her house hunt.
Alex explains: “I was looking for somewhere fairly local, picturesque and homely for me to settle into and I came across Calder View apartments about three months into my search.
“I fell in love with the development and had that feeling – the one all first-time buyers hope for the first time they see their home. Because the apartment was under my name from the early stages, it meant I could have a say in how it was built – choosing my own kitchen and appliances was a big deal for me, as it allowed me to have my dream kitchen ready for me as soon as I moved in!”
Along the way, Alex got to go on site visits to see the progress of the build and design of her apartment.
Alex continues: “After reserving the plot, the site manager was kind enough to let me visit the development throughout the build, so I could watch the progress. I even got some ‘before’ photos of the apartment as a keepsake, which added to the build-up and excitement for moving in day.”
After moving into her home in July, Alex has found everything she was searching for.
She continues: “The excitement of being in my very own home is yet to wear off, but when it does, I’ve got so many benefits to fall back on! I’m just a few miles away from Halifax town centre, motorway links with the M62 and even my own work!
“Everyone who’s visited so far has commented on how lovely the whole development is, as well as my apartment specifically! I can’t wait to be a part of the Calder View community as it grows over the coming years.”
