“As soon as we saw the new house our son had bought at Taylor Wimpey’s The Grange development in Hailsham, my wife Wendy and I knew we wanted to live there too. Of course, it’s great to have the family on our doorstep, but we wouldn’t have moved if we weren’t keen on the development and the location.
“The Grange is such a nice place to live. The quiet, edge-of-town location means we have a much better quality of life than we did at our old home in Carshalton. Plus, we are getting much more for our money than we would have done in Surrey.
“When we’d tried to sell our old home previously, the buyer pulled out on the day we were due to exchange contracts. Taylor Wimpey stepped in and helped us with the easymover scheme, and within two weeks we had another buyer. We were kept informed of what was happening throughout the process, and we never had any worries at all.
“Having our family just around the corner is really nice. They’ve been really happy since they moved, and the local primary school in Hellingly is just half a mile away, and is a proper village school. It’s reassuring to know our grandchildren will be educated in such a safe, lovely place.
“The Grange is also only eight miles from Eastbourne, and near to Hastings, Pevensey and of course, Brighton, which is great for shopping and entertainment. You can just hop on a train in Hailsham and be there very quickly. In terms of location, it’s ideal.”
