“Our new family house at Taylor Wimpey’s Hinchley Park development in Hinchley Wood is so homely, and our baby David seems really happy crawling around on the new carpets – he seems to love it.
“My husband Bruce and I have so much more room here in Hinchley Wood than we could get in London and having parking space is really great. Back in Chiswick we could never park outside the flat, but here I can have David with me and take the shopping inside without having to worry.
“Bruce’s commute is only 15 minutes longer than it was when we lived in London. He has a nice 12-minute walk to Hinchley Wood station each day, and the journey into Waterloo takes around half an hour. It’s surprising how quick it is, considering we are now 14 miles out in Surrey.
“The location is just brilliant. Hinchley Wood has some lovely shops and everything you need, including a bakery, a butcher’s and a surgery. There are the local primary and comprehensive schools just a few minutes away – and they have good reputations, which is important for us for later on down the line. And down the road, Esher is so lovely to visit and do some shopping.”
