“As we were having another baby we decided we wanted somewhere with more space. We looked around at different houses for a long time and we were very particular about what we wanted, but the properties at Barley Grange were too good to miss!
“We decided on a new-build because you don’t experience the same problems you often have with an older property – we wanted a better quality of life for our family and with a new house we felt more comfortable.
“These homes are very sturdy and the ‘Shelford’ is a great-value property – it was everything we were looking for within our budget and there was nothing else of that size for the same price on the market.
“The Help to Buy scheme has been great and everything went really smoothly. We also used the scheme when purchasing our previous property, so we knew it would be useful for us.
“The entire experience with Taylor Wimpey has been amazing and Tracey the Sales Executive has been a star from the beginning – she’s always so friendly and patient and very knowledgeable.
“Carl the Site Manager has also been fantastic. He talked us through everything with the house and always made us feel welcome and answered our queries. They’ve made it very special for us and they’ve helped make it happen.
“We couldn’t wish for more – we love all the extra space. Our home has four double bedrooms and a really big garden, which is ideal.
“The development as a whole is wonderful. There’s a real sense of spaciousness, whereas with other developments the houses often feel on top of one another or very close together.
“We have a beautiful area of land outside the front of our home with trees and water and all of the houses look really good quality – I’ve never lived in such a warm house before!
“We’re really enjoying it here and love our new home. The build quality is brilliant and the customer service we received was excellent, so we couldn’t have asked for more.”
