“I was living in my mum and dad’s farmhouse, but it really felt like the right time to move into a place of my own so I decided to visit Taylor Wimpey’s Rufford Grange development in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire.
“When I first saw the three-bedroom ‘Fermain’ townhouse, it blew me away. I love the way it has been laid out across three floors, with the en-suite master bedroom tucked away at the top of the house – and there’s plenty of room downstairs too. “Buying a new build property was important to me, because I didn’t want any of the hassle or expensive problems associated with older properties arising in the future or have to do any work to it.
“The location of Rufford Grange is fantastic. I’ve always lived in this part of Nottinghamshire, so it was important that my friends and family are nearby. Also, it’s just five minutes from where I work, which is ideal because I’m a farmer who regularly puts in 80-hour weeks.” Ben Bakewell, Rufford Grange resident.
