"We were sad to leave our old home, but, with a growing family to consider, my husband, Duncan, and I found Broughton Gate in Milton Keynes offers so much more for your money.
"We soon realised that there are so many people just like us here, families with small children, that there’s a real camaraderie among our neighbours. Everyone is really keen to make friends, which is something you don’t always get on older estates or streets where people have lived there for years.
"Broughton Gate has a real sense of community already, and it’s going to be lovely to watch all the children around here grow up together. We’ll never get bored living here, and we’re still discovering different places to go. Within 10 minutes by car you can be shopping at The Centre:MK or Ikea, walking by a lake, having fun at Gulliver’s Land theme park, plus there’s the Milton Keynes Bowl for concerts, the MK Dons football stadium and plenty of countryside to explore, while Woburn Safari Park is just 15 minutes away.
"The townhouse design that we chose is fantastic – the top floor is a real parents’ sanctuary. It’s really nice to have your bedroom on a different floor to the children’s bedrooms. You get the whole floor to yourself, and they get the same. There’s plenty of space for our son, Jack, which means he can have all his toys in there and play happily in a safe environment. And a few years down the line there will be no fighting over bedrooms with his brother or sister as the third bedroom is also a double!”
