“We’d lived in Lincolnshire for over 30 years, and in fact that was a new build when we moved in and began to establish our family, so it’s interesting now that we’ve bought a new-build home to enjoy our retirement in.
“We knew that we wanted to move back to Scotland when we retired so we could be closer to our family, and we thought that a new property would be the best option for us because everything is ready for when you move in, and you don’t inherit the problems you sometimes get with an older property. You get the house just the way you want it – so moving to Cavalry Park in Kilsyth gave us the opportunity to create our perfect fresh start!
“We have a fantastic house in a location that really suits us – plus we felt that it offered us good value for money. We like the fact that new-build properties are a fixed price – this gave us the certainty that we could buy our dream home and that no-one could take it away from us.
“We have been completely taken aback by the quality of the service and the attention to detail from both the site and sales team. We just can’t believe how helpful everyone’s been right from day one.
“The support and aftercare that we’ve had from Alex Chalmers and Angus Cameron on site has been great – they are always popping round to see if there is anything we need, and the service we’ve had from Lorraine Scouller in sales is the best we’ve ever had, it’s made the whole move into the next chapter of our family life stress-free.
“I really thought we’d miss our house in Lincolnshire because we brought our family up there and made lots of great memories and of course we have lots of friends there too – but I don’t even think about that house now because we’re creating lovely memories with our grandchildren in our new home at Cavalry Park and that’s just wonderful.”
