“We’d been looking to move for a little while and just assumed we couldn’t afford one of the houses at Forge Wood.
“We didn’t expect to be able to afford a three-bedroom house – we were initially thinking about two-bedroom properties – but we’ve been able to get our home for a really good price.
“Our property isn’t overlooked and we have a nice view of nearby woodland. Inside the house it’s similar to the showhome – it has a big living room and a nice long hallway with a guest cloakroom. We chose to upgrade as well, so we’ve been able to put our own stamp on it with a nice glossy white kitchen.
“We really liked the look of the exterior too, as it’s pitched at the front which gives it character.
“The Taylor Wimpey staff have been spot on. Jamie the Site Manager has been great – he showed us round the property and went through all the drawings to talk us through their drainage systems and how they’ve solved any issues, explaining everything in structural terms which was really interesting.
“We’ve also been receiving brilliant service from Clare the Sales Executive, who deals with us the most. She’s always very friendly and helpful, even after 5pm when it’s time to go home!
“We definitely knew we wanted to stay in the area, and the location of our new home is great, as we’re both closer to work. It’s in the centre of Crawley, so we have supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and everything else you need nearby.
“There are also plans to eventually build a shop and a school at Forge Wood, so we’ll have lots of amenities on our doorstep and still be close by to friends and family too.”
