Joseph Hall, 29, and his partner Sophie Bourne, 27, were over the moon when their hunt for a first home together led them to a spacious four-bedroom property at our Hampden View development, in the heart of Norfolk.

The couple, who had previously rented an apartment in Colchester, decided to move in with Joseph’s parents in Hadleigh, Suffolk, in order to save up for a deposit for their dream home. After visiting many other developments in and around Norwich, Sophie and Joseph fell in love with the four-bedroom Kentdale housetype, and were able to secure their dream home using the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

Commenting on their buying experience, Sophie said: “We were instantly taken by how beautiful the development looked and how well presented it was. We found that the sales executives were extremely helpful and we knew that they genuinely wanted to help us find our dream home, which they did.

“Throughout the whole process they were so supportive and always kept us updated on how the building process was coming along.”

Joseph added: “I work in the construction industry, so I had heard about Taylor Wimpey before. I knew that they were a large homebuilder and the quality of their homes is great, but we never could’ve imagined that it would be this good!

“We got the keys to our new home on 1st November 2019, and we’ve loved our house ever since. We always dreamed of owning something that we can call our own and decorate however we want and that is exactly what we have now.”
