“We previously lived in Wembury in Devon, but always knew we wanted to move to a home that was slightly bigger and more modern.

“I first took a tour of the ‘Thornford’ when working at Drovers Way, another Taylor Wimpey development in St Agnes, to see what would need decorating. As soon as I saw the inside, I really took a shine to the structure and layout of the property, and how the whole house just seemed to flow from one room to the next – it was all just really impressive.

“We were trying to steer away from new-build properties, as we wanted something a bit more traditional – but the ‘Thornford’ totally blew away our expectations. It was absolutely perfect for us, and even our son Ewan is really excited about moving into our brand new home!

“The development is quite unique, in that it’s a very exclusive community of only 16 homes, which we love. It’s a beautiful cul de sac backing onto woodland, and the location itself is everything we could ever ask for, with shops, supermarkets and lots to do nearby – we were really happy that there was a ‘Thornford’ available there.

“Nikki works at the same decorating company as I do, so commuting will be a breeze for us being just five minutes away from the A38. We knew that the schooling was exceptional around here, and with a few schools situated so near to the development, it was simply ideal for Ewan.

“Using Part Exchange was very smooth, very easy, and just took away all of the hassle that selling a house can bring – especially with a young son to think about. It completely sped up the whole process, and all we had to worry about was packing all our stuff!

“I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Taylor Wimpey throughout this entire process. From working with them, to choosing our home and using Part Exchange, there were no issues at all – which is always positive when moving house.”
