Our East Anglia team has welcomed the very first family to its Sewell Meadow development in Old Catton, Norfolk.

Norwich Airport workers Cassie Long, 33, and her partner Dan Bean, 43, first fell in love with the prime location of Sewell Meadow, as it’s just a 15-minute walk from their place of work. Then our four-bedroom Midford property completely won them over and they knew they had found a forever home for their family of five.

Dan said: “The location of our new home was a key factor in our decision to move to Sewell Meadow. Now both Cassie and I can walk to work in just 15 minutes."

Cassie added: “We longed to move into a new home but we didn’t want to do lots of work to the property ourselves. When we saw that Taylor Wimpey had a site at this location, we just had to pay them a visit.

“We instantly chose the Midford because it was the perfect family home for us - as a four-bedroom detached home with a kitchen diner, it has everything we wanted!”

When purchasing their new home, Cassie and Dan used the Government-backed Help to Buy Scheme and are now enjoying family life in their new house. This initiative is ideal for new or existing homeowners who are looking to move on or up the property ladder as it allows buyers to secure a property with as little as a 5% deposit.

Dan said: “We really appreciate all the help we received from the Sewell Meadow team, especially during the difficult and unsettling time of the covid-19 lockdown. Despite the challenges that come with buying a new home during a pandemic, the sales team made the whole process very straightforward.”

Cassie added: “Our new home reflects our lifestyle perfectly and we are excited to start creating new memories here.”
