When Lisa and I decided to move to a bigger family home with our daughters Jade (5) and Ruby (3) we started off by looking at older properties in the Burton-on-Trent area, but were soon put off by the amount of work that so many of them required. We realised that a brand new property was much better value as it requires minimal maintenance and decoration, once it’s built we could move in and start enjoying the home straight away.
We viewed a number of new developments in Burton-on-Trent but were most impressed by Regency Square. Even though there was building work still being carried out, it was very well looked after and we found the sales staff warm and welcoming. We knew instantly this was where we wanted to set up our new home.
The first house we looked at was lovely as it offered lots of space for the whole family, but when we saw the Wells townhouse we knew immediately that it was the home for us. Having our living space spread over three floors is ideal as the rooms can be adapted as our needs change over time. At the moment Jade and Ruby still share a room as they don’t want to be parted, so until the time comes when they want their own bedrooms, the spare room can be used as a play room or somewhere for guests to stay.
Taylor Wimpey made the whole home buying process really simple and straight forward, we never had to worry about a thing. The sales staff were very open and honest about our options and organised everything – they were even able to recommend the best solicitors to use! The fact that Regency Square has an NHBC award winning site manager reassured us further that we were buying a high quality home.
