NEWS - TWNT - Stortford Fields case study

James Anderson and Zsanett Toth have been welcomed into the newly launched Stortford Fields development in Bishop’s Stortford as its first residents. From renting a two bedroom flat in the town centre, the couple have upsized to a more family-friendly three bedroom Crofton G property.

Whilst still wanting to stay in the area, James and Zsanett decided to move away from the centre but still be within a close distance to local amenities. Our new Stortford Fields development is just a short walk away from The Jackson Square Shopping Centre and offers excellent commuting services via the nearby Bishop’s Stortford train station. It was also extremely important for James to be close to Birchwood High School and Summercroft Primary School, which are both a short drive away, so his children could visit regularly.

Commenting on the straight-forward move and customer service provided by our North Thames team, James said: “We found that there was always someone on hand to deal with our enquiries and nothing seemed like too much effort for the sales team. Candice, a dedicated Customer Relations Manager, even helped with things non-related to Taylor Wimpey, and Dennis, the Site Manager, was also particularly helpful. As there was no buying chain, the whole process was really easy as Taylor Wimpey completed the homes quickly which allowed us to move in before Christmas.”

The couple, who now feel settled into their new home, are still getting used to some aspects of life in a three bedroom property having previously lived in a two bedroom flat. James stated: “We are loving the new house, it’s nice and quiet but we’re still not quite used to having to climb the stairs everyday! Having a garden is still a big thing for us and having parking seems like a luxury. Everything still looks and feels new and we’re looking forward to seeing what the finished product of the development will look like, and what it will offer in terms of community amenities.”
