Looking for the ideal place to bring up their family was the first step in Ashleigh Halpin and her partner Gary falling in love with the prospect of calling Dargavel Village in Bishopton their new home. The opportunity to take a stress-free step up the ladder from their two-bedroom apartment, Dargavel Village was the perfect choice for the young family.
Along with Ava, aged 7, and a baby on the way, the couple moved into Dargavel Village just three months’ ago and it’s felt like home from day one, as Ashleighexplains: “Our experience with Taylor Wimpey was great. From the moment we met Carol, Jen and Kirsten we felt they worked hard to understand what was important to us and they made the whole process stress-free and easy.”
“We used Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange scheme and although I was a little apprehensive at the start of the process, it was by far the easiest solution for us to be able to sell my flat in Clydebank and buy our new home at Dargavel Village.”
“We also had the convenience of having our optional extras like carpets and tiling all completed before we moved and so it really felt like home from day one.”
The couple fell in love with the Geddes four bedroom detached home as Ashleigh adds: “We have also been blown away by the quality of our home – we have struggled to find even one small thing to fault and the after-care from our customer relations manager Michelle has just been fantastic. It’s been a great experience.”
Gary, who works in construction and has been involved at Dargavel Village adds: “Through working on various parts of this development, I’ve seen how Dargavel Village has matured into a really fantastic place to live and bring up your family with a great sense of community.“
“The development offers other features such as a new local supermarket, the park/ride, a range of parks as well as plans for a country park nearby so it just feels as though there is so much more to it than a typical new-build development.”
Being part of something new is really exciting for the family as Ashleigh adds: “Dargavel Village already feels like a great place to live with a lovely community feeling – and our neighbours are lovely. We’re looking forward to growing as a family as Dargavel Village itself grows too.”
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland adds: “It’s exciting to hear that Ashleigh and Gary have settled so quickly into family living at Dargavel Village, and we’re very proud of how Dargavel Village is coming to life and the part we are playing in that.
