“Taylor Wimpey drew up such a great financial package which meant we could afford more home for our money. We initially looked at the second hand market and saw we would be required to pay a £28,000 deposit for a £112,000 house, which just wasn’t realistic for us as young first time buyers.
“We used a shared equity scheme where we put down a 5% deposit. It’s brilliant because we now own a brand new three bedroom home. We’ve turned one bedroom into a games room and the other spare room has become my dressing room. But we know this house will grow with us when we decide we want a family.
“We’d have meetings with the Taylor Wimpey team where we’d discuss the different fixtures and fittings available to us, all of which were displayed in the showroom on site. Not only did this mean we had a choice in how our finished home would look, the team were so accommodating, meeting our timescales and requirements where possible. We’re really delighted. It’s the house we’ve always dreamed of.”
